And that's a problem. We need more diversity in the technology and apps being created, and we won't get there without more diversity in the people creating that technology and those apps!

Lori is the owner, founder and lead instructor at WNDX School of Mobile Apps, and creator of the popular 6 Pack Apps course. The goal of the 6 Pack Apps program is to help a more diverse group of app developers collaborate with business owners and entrepreneurs to create and launch successful mobile applications to address the needs of their diverse global audiences. 

Lori has spent most of her career in Calgary, but now resides in her home town of Lethbridge, on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. 

The best apps are created by people with lived experience, so Lori is on a mission to ensure the ideas from under-represented groups are given an opportunity to become the successful mobile apps needed by the women, the indigenous peoples, the seniors, the neuro-diverse, and the disabled.
